The Home

The home has two adjoining lounges where residents can relax, take part in activities, socialise or watch television. The main lounge is flooded with light and overlooks the picturesque river Ure which is often frequented by Herons and Kingfishers nesting by the bridge. Our onsite activities co-ordinator provides an array of entertainment for the residents on an afternoon as well as one-to-one activities.

Brightly decorated, the lounge is an open, homely and comforting space to relax in. The main lounge comprises of panoramic windows and patio doors which make it readily accessible to the patio and garden areas. The garden is widely used in the spring and summer months, including our famous annual summer fayre.

Residents often enjoy ice creams, wine or sherry on the patio during these warmer months.

What's often the social hub of the home, the Dining Room provides nutritious meals throughout breakfast, lunch and tea time services. Ingredients are all locally sourced which naturally adds to the flavour!                         

Residents are free to chose all their meals, aswell as, when and where they would like to eat them. Two onsite Cooks provide home cooked fresh meals and tasty baking, which has vibrant reviews from residents and family members alike. Meals are tailored where applicable to those with any specfic dietry requirements.

Bedrooms 

Bedrooms often provide a spectacular view over the river itself and beautiful gardens. All our rooms are recently renovated to a very high standard and all include en-suite bathrooms, quality oak furniture and that personal cozy touch.

In an aim to incorporate both a comfortable feel as well as modern fixtures, including; adjustable lighting, smart TV's and bespoke bathrooms.

Therefore, each room is unique with different finishing touches to give it its own identity. We encourage residents to bring their own belongings if preferable to once again establish "familiarity" and a "sense of home".
